Call for Papers
The International Conference on Welding and Joining 2020 is an event of extensive collaboration between R&D and practical engineering. The conference includes invited academic and industrial speakers from around the world. Welding is an ever growing discipline which presents challenges and work opportunities for new generations of engineers. The conference will provide several opportunities for you to network informally with speakers and other participants, with the opportunity to attend an exhibition showcasing products and available services. Israel more than ever before has evolved in implementing the science and engineering of welding in manufacturing, construction and country-wide infrastructures. These advancements are integral to an increasing world-wide scientific knowledge base, while strengthening the ability to share both information and projects with international colleagues. The conference aims to provide exactly that, an open forum for fruitful discussions and exchanging ideas professionally in order to explore new aspects of the joining field. The event is hosted by the Israeli National Welding Committee (INWC) at AEAI, and will take place between 27th and the 29th of January 2020 in Tel Aviv. This venue offers high quality conference facilities and four star accommodations all under one roof. You are invited to learn about the progress in welding technologies while sharing your own experiences and advancements.
Conference Topics:
- Advance welding of gas pipelines
- Weldability and Cracking Behavior
- Properties of Weldments
- Modeling in Welding
- Welding Quality, Coordination and Supervision
- Welding of Plastic Materials
- Weld inspection technologies
- Soldering and Brazing
- Advances in Solid State Joining
Topics should be applicable to industry by combining examples of how the application is expressed – the necessary equipment and training, the measurements and opportunities required with the Israeli welding industry.
